REVIEW: Hard Candy Face&Body Luminizer from Walmart

Today I went to Walmart again, this time I got my book! YEAH!
Anyway, I used the Hard Candy Face&Body Luminizer that I bought a couple days ago. I have to say, it works very well. Definitely worth to try, very good steal considering the price and the mount of product you get.

After finish my foundation layer, but before the setting powder, I use my figure to tap tiny a mount of this product on my highligher bone (a lit bit above ur cheek), the highest bone on your face, and also on my nose. You can start with as little as you want, build it up if you need. I was very careful that I did not rub out, caz I think it would effect my foundation layer. After 3 hours being outside, it looks great! It really not as obvious as I thought. It gives this glowing to feature my face more but NO eye-can-tell shining shimmer, which it AWESOME!!!!!

Now I have to say I love this product, it will join my daily makeup routine.
Welcome Hard Candy!

Before I go out.

Review: Coty - Airspun face powder

I love this powder very much. But I should remind you cuz I have an oily skin. I got the translucent extra-coverage shade and it works very good with my medium yellow undertone skin. It does bring my skin a little brighter but not whiter, which is what I want. I am very amazed by how well this powder keep the oil away from my face. I did apply a lot, after my tint moisturizer, I apply this powder with a flat top brush, which brings a lot of powder and at first it looks very matte, a lit bit dry, I should not get too much under my eye, which I wont do next time, but in the end of the day, my face looks still pretty matte, which is AMAZING!! After the first 2 hours, since my oily skin, it doesn't feel dry any more, and it looks better, matte but very natural. Next time I will use less product and it should be better.
I got the new package, which is a plastic box, the lid is pretty thick and feels safe, dose not feel like if I drop it, it will fall apart. I like the scent BTW, it goes way after you apply it, so not really a big deal.
Over all, I love it, it is cheap, do what it should do, and do a good job, will purchase again. But, boy, it is huge!! With 65g, even I plan to use it everyday, I dont know when I am gonna finish it. Worth the money. Big yes!!

Review: DiorSkin Forever Compact Flawless & Moist Extreme Wear Makeup SPF 25

I have been use this for 4 years for now.
I have yellow undertone skin, oily skin. This is my travel must have. Since on the way I prefer not bringing too much stuff. I use liquid foundation with setting powder when I am home, but liquid is always a little problem for carry-on. So this is my travel non-liquid foundation.
It is amazing with oily skin. After a day, I don't feel the oil come out too much, well there always a lit bit shine but seems the oil has been absorb by the powder, and left with a very natural looking makeup. It offers mid-full coverage , works very well with the sponge that comes with. It have a tiny bit shimmer in it, but you could not tell, gives a very natural shimmering finish, not glowing at all, only let your face have this healthy look. It is not 100% matte, but definitely not shimmer, plz don't worry, even I just said the word "shimmer".
The only downside is it used up pretty quickly, if I use it everyday, it may only last me 2 months top, consider the price, its kinda pricey. Anyhow, if you have the budget, I am sure this will works very well on daily bases. If you want to go more affordable, this still is a very good option just for traveling use. It never let me down when I was travel, I know I can count on it.
Always stock up during sephora 20%off, which makes it around $39.

Hard Candy Face&Body Luminizer from Walmart

Yesterday I went to walmart to pick up my book The Water Secret, and I saw walmart has a new line of makeup products: Hard Candy. I believe they are from same company with Urban Decay, I am not sure, I might be wrong. But I heard it somewhere, maybe on youtube.
Anyway, I got this luminizer cream for $8, comes in a tube with 76.5g (2.7oz), quite a decent amount of product for the price. I have not try it on the face or body yet, cuz I am not wearing any makeup recently (cuz I stay at home all the time since got back from NYC). But I did take a couple of pics to show how it works on my hands.
It is cream texture, transparent color, with a lot of shimmer in it. Those shimmers are very well milled, they look beautiful. It gives this fabulous glowing look but without too obvious shimmer pieces. I think it will be fantastic as a face highligher. On top of my head, I think it can be used individually as highlighter cream or even mixed with the regular foundation.
Anyway, here are pics and I will definitely use it and write a review whenever I get a chance.
$8! What a steal!!
BTW, I did forget to pick up my book eventually, I bought grocery and I bet it is the luminizer that got me so exited that I forgot to do what I was originally intend to. Which kinda funny, I got everything that I might need for, but not the one that I REALLY need. Well, lesson learned.

Laura Mercier Purchase - First impression

I just got the package like 20 min ago. It is rainy today so the box was a little bit wet on the side. I was worried, but fortunately none of the items got effected~
Couple days ago, LM's official website has this $10 off $25 with free shipping promotion, also, you can get 3 pretty decent size of samples, which is also very cool. These are my first LM purchase, I never use their stuff before but I have heard so much good thing about them, with some research on makeupalley.com, I decide give a try due to the promotion.
